Joel and I debated on having Lukas do preschool at home one more year or send him somewhere. We decided he could probably use an out a couple times a week. He was so excited for his first day of school, he kept looking out the window for the school bus. It was a sad little moment when we had to break the news that mommy would be the school bus driver and the Highlander would be his bus. But after a small meltdown we headed off to school sporting the new backpack I made for him.

Yes, the bus doesn't even come to our house for kindergarten:( I love Lukas' backpack!!! We need to do some pattern swapping-
