I didn't get as many picts as I usually do over our Cowboy Days weekend, because between being out the fairgrounds helping out and building a float for the parade I was not around my little family much. We did make it to the fish catch, where somehow I ended up being on the side of the pool try to catch a fish with Lukas and Joel was taking the pictures ???? Thanks to Jeremy he helped us catch a fish for Lukas.
This year Cowboy Days was celebrating its 75th year. The PRCA presented the committee with a plaque. Thats my cool cowboy Padre in the middle holding the plaque.
Lukas was so excited for Mutton Bustin this year until the moment came and then he was scared to death. I think he was having flash backs of his debut on Channel 2 News last year. But he survived and was excited to get another trophy.
The committee played musical horses during the rodeo, my fast Dad was winning up until the very end when one of the queens pulled the chair out from under him.
Another successful year for Cowboy Days. I swear it always takes a week or two to recover from such a busy crazy weekend. But we always have a good time and sleep when its all over.
