"Never Say Never," and other great sayings!
Brace yourselves... okay I am sure I am the only one that was shocked and still shocked with the decision Joel and I just made. Two days before we left on vacation Joel was offered a job in Evanston at the hospital there. Yes Evanston! It truly was a great offer, one that allowed Joel to get out of another year of school and 24 hours a week of free labor (clinicals), and a pay raise. I know it sounds like a no brainer decision. But when you factor in the facts of selling a house, quitting our jobs here (which we both love), and the fact we would be homeless until our house sold, it was a little harder decision. And for those of you that know Joel and I, we do not make decision very well or very quickly, and when he got the call about the job we had to let them know that same day! Granted we have known about the job for awhile, but like any other job you apply and wait and see what happens :) So needless to say we were under a lot of pressure...after thirty minutes of being able to actually talk about it (yes that is all we had by the time Joel got home from work) we decided it was a great opportunity. This past year has been one of the hardest years Joel and I have spent together, a lot of disappointment, tears, stress and wondering what in the world we were going to do with life. This opportunity seemed to be what we had been waiting for... So after taking back all those times since the day I graduated high school that I had said, " I will never live in Evanston," and "I will never move back in with my parents." We are off to Evanston to live with my parents :) Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with Evanston or my parents. But I hate the snow and I have always prided myself on not being the kid that always needs help from the parents. I honestly thought that when Joel and I moved out of Utah it would be to head back East to live. I mean we are moving a little east, just not as far as I thought we would be going! So if anyone wants a cute house in Ogden, let me know. I just need to be grateful things are working out, and I am so happy we will have fabulous friends in E-town to hang out with!

Congrats on the job! I'm glad you decided to move back. I think you'll end up liking it more than you think! Isn't life crazy sometimes?!
I am happy for you guys! Ed actually would like living in Evanston, there just aren't any jobs there for him. Good luck selling your house!
Hi Kira. I'm glad to hear you guys will be sticking around the area for awhile longer. If you need help selling your house, give Jimmy a call. He's had his real estate license for awhile. Congrats on the job. I'm sure everything will work out for the best.
It is always crazy how things work out...so happy for you guys and I have to say I am going to start getting jealous of all of you cousins living so close to eachother!
