How quickly a year passes by. Can't believe we were adjusting to a new baby in our home to a year later....
we are celebrating Madalyn's First Birthday.
We had a little party to celebrate the day. These are the little shoes my friend made for the party favors. I LOVE them, they turned out so darn cute!
The cake, not bad for saying cake decorating is not my thing.
The birthday girl...she loved the puppy Uncle Josh, Aunt ShanDee and Cousin Zack gave her.

We had a fun day celebrating Miss Maddie. We are so thankful for wonderful family and friends that came to help us celebrate. And we are even more thankful for Madalyn. Here is a list of her favorites:
*laughing and making others laugh
* her Da-Da
*teasing her brother (she is getting really good at this)
*sports- the only time she pays attention to the TV is if sports are on
*food-this girl could eat ALL day long and she LOVES everything
*snuggling-she still loves to snuggle and be held doesn't matter the time of day
*puppies- I am out numbered...I fear I may come home one day to a puppy, because I am pretty sure before too long the kids will have convinced Joel to just go get one.
We love our Maddie girl! Can't wait for another year with this one.

I loved your Halloween pics...I noticed the guts were still in your pumpkins, I've never seen that before? Good idea, not having to get so messy. My fav is the pic of Lukas in his spider man costume on the grass! Such a little stud! And the incredibles looked great too:)
