Catch up

Little behind on this blog...so here are my excuses for not updating. First the beginning of June I had to get surgery on my hand, so that put me out of commission for two weeks. Then the day I got my cast off we headed to St. George for two weeks, then home for three days, then off camping for 5. Then home for a week and off to girls camp. I would like to say I have recovered from all the above, but I just woke up from being passed out on the couch. I should have been doing laundry or making dinner, but instead I will blog about it :) So here are pictures from the fun parts of the last few months.

First St George...Joel's brother got married and lot of family from back East came out so we made it a long much needed vacation.

The only pict I got of Lukas at the wedding...let's just say we had to leave early, due to lots of breakable stuff, a dog that didn't like kids, candles all over the place that kept being blown out and the throwing of dirt on unsuspecting people...it was a nightmare. But a really cute wedding theme-THE CIRCUS- so fun!

The weather in my opinion was perfect...high 90s. The kids had lots of water fights.

Next came the annual 4th of July camping trip with my family. This year was cut a little short due to having lots of girls camp I needed to take care of. So I only got a few pictures.

Cousin Zack is so good to Maddie. He loves playing with her and holding her and giving her lots of hugs. So as you can see from the next picture he didn't want her to feel left out and gave her all the trucks...

4th of July...did a few fireworks and watched the city's show. There are no words to describe what this town is like on the 4th. Now I know why we have always been out of town this holiday for as long as I can remember.

Now that we have survived the beginning of our summer (not sure where it went) we have been just chilling. Doing yard work and enjoying the warm weather. Lukas and Maddie have been so fun to watch together lately. Now that she is a little more interactive, Lukas loves playing with his baby sister. I hope they always stay good buddies!
