So for the last 15 years...literally my mom has tried without success to get me to sew. I have refused every effort she took to teach me. I would just bring her the stuff I needed to sew and pick it up when it was complete. When we would get together for craft days I would volunteer to cut out, turn, pin and whatever else that would guarantee I could avoid the machine. Well my sister I decided this year we wanted to make the girls' Easter dresses. So we found a pattern and material and away we went. This was our first project that we did by our selves start to finish. People I know sewing is not hard, but this is a BIG DEAL. I never liked sewing,now I LOVE it! Joel even bought me a sewing machine (an early Mother's Day present). Anyway here is the Easter creation, oh and I made Lukas a matching tie.
Now I can't stop sewing!

Soooo cute! I not surprised though Kira, you do it all. Now just add sewing to your list of many talents:) Ryan gave me sewing lessons for Valentines day and I have loved it!! I'm making some cute skirts for my girls, we'll have to do a pattern swap sometime. I was the same as you, scared of the machine and always had my mom sew for me. Now I love it too!
