Lukas' Birthday was on a Wednesday this year, so basically he got to celebrate all week long. I think he opened at least one present everyday for a week between presents from Mommy and Daddy, his party and the ones that kept coming in the mail that week from great grandparents and grandparents. On his actual birthday we started the day off with chocolate donuts (his personal favorite), then headed to story time. Lukas managed to tell the story lady that he wanted a McQueen present cuz it was his birthday, which resulted in everyone at the library singing "Happy Birthday" to him. I was mortified, Lukas loved every second of it. After story time we went to McDonalds. Okay so Lukas does not like the food there, well maybe except the ice cream, but when you live in the cold place that we do you with not many options of entertainment you take what you can get. The kids has lots of fun running around getting all that energy out.

Then that night Josh, Shan Shan and Zack came swimming with us.
The Saturday after his birthday we had his party. He is obessed with Cars the movie right now. So of course we had a CARS party.
The cake my awesome cousin made for Lukas.

The decorations

I made all the kids driver licenses for the party.

The favors: car caddies and a cd of Lukas' fav songs

The kids each decorated a car to "drive" around the party.
