So this past weekend was filled with a lot of traveling, a wedding and a quick get a way. First on Friday my sister took Lukas home with her to Wyoming, because I had a surprised planned for Joel. I packed some bags and when Joel got home from work we got in the car and headed to Midway. (the cutest town I have ever seen!) I had booked a room at the Johnson Mill Bed and Breakfast. It was the coolest place. They had a lake that had swans and ducks along with canoes and paddle boats you could use. They also had trails that went along the lake and river and a 40 foot waterfall. It was such a great place, I highly recommend it. Saturday morning we slept in, that was heaven, then we headed to Park City to go shopping. After we finished shopping we drove to Evanston. My grandma got married on Saturday, so we went up for her wedding and to get Lukas. It was so fun to visit with family. My grandma's siblings all came up, along with my great grandma. It was fun for everyone to spend time together and everyone got to see Lukas. Saturday night about 10 after the wedding and everything we headed back home. Then woke up early for church then got back in the car and drove back to Evanston for Mother's Day. By the time Monday rolled around Lukas was so worn out he slept all day long, and Joel and I were wishing we could sleep all day. But all in all it was a fun weekend, I just can't believe how much we fit into three days!
The swans in the lake at the Johnson Mill, this was the view from our patio.

I love you're blog. It is so so cute! I'm glad you had a good time on your little getaway. It's always nice to get away a little bit, especially if Kenna is going to take the Lukas!
Dude...look at his freaking legs!! He is just too cute!! I'm glad you guys had a good time on your little get-a-way...we all know you deserved it!
Good for you! I love Lukas, he's such a cute little rolly thing. I like the new layout!
Kira, what a TANK! Maybe he'll play BYU football--Scott says there is nothing you can do to stop it now! We wanted to meet you guys in St. George so bad but...we are moving to UTAH in about three weeks and have to head there to check out housing over memorial day weekend. At least we'll be closer soon. Johnny Carino's here we come! Nats
Looks like you had a great time! Oh to have some time away with the husband!!!! Lukas is adorable! The video of him giggling is so cute! Thanks for your email, fun to be caught up on things. Oh, and I had to re-check, but I found you thru a girl named Brooke. She left a comment on my friend Chantri's blog, I clicked on her, and lo and behold she is linked to you! Small world! Well, hope things are good! :)
Joel and Kira--wow it has been a long time. It is Amy Burke (from way back at Ricks) I have tried to get in touch without any luck. I love how blog surfing helps to find people again. I hope you guys are doing well. Your boy is adorable!
