First we started out the month with a road trip down south to see Joel's family and baby Miles (our first nephew). We were so excited to get down to the warm weather, BUT it snowed and rained the whole time we were there! But it was still a fun trip visiting with family and holding the baby. Miles is such a cute little guy and Lukas just loved being where ever the baby was, he would say, "Hi baby," when ever he saw Miles. The other highlight of Lukas' trip was riding Papa's tractor, it was freezing outside but he talked his dad and Papa into taking him two different times. And now Lukas is crazy about tractors. He talks about tractors and puppies all day long. Which make me happy because I am more likely to buy a tractor before a puppy!

Lukas with his new cousin Miles. Two days after our trip we got another new baby in the family. Josh and ShanDee had their little guy Zachary. Lukas loves baby Zack and can not stop giving him kisses! It is fun having all these new babies to hold, but also great to know I can give them back to their parents!
The Saturday before Easter we drove down to Ogden and met up with our good friends John and Kristy and their kids. They are getting ready to move to New York so we were glad we got to meet up with them before they left. We took the kids to the Dinosaur Park, they had a blast. There were tons of BIG dinosaurs, slides, things to climb on, and a Easter egg hunt.
The kids loved hearing all the dinosaurs roar and growl.

Easter was a fun day, other than Lukas was grumpy the entire day, only to find out the next day his ear infections never went away! But the Easter Bunny found Lukas and brought him a puppy piggy bank (which I am hoping will help him forget that what he really wanted was a real puppy).

Josh ended up with only his yolk, but it was in perfect condition!
So here is the drama with the ear infections. Lukas' ears are not responding to any of the antibiotics that the doctor has given him. So everyday this week I have had to take him to the doctor to get a shot, this antibiotic is suppose to the strongest out there, it looks like maple syrup so it takes a minute for it all to get in his system. Which means Lukas has to lay still for longer than a second, good thing my mom has been able to go with me, because it takes the three of us to hold him down. Anyway by the third shot his ears still had not improved, so I now get to take him to an ENT. Our doctor is pretty sure he needs tubes in his ears. It is so sad to see the little guy in pain, I can tell he does not feel well. Although he still has not slowed down much and continues to acquire a new bruise every minute! So I guess we will see what we find out when we go to the ENT...

You don't know me, but Joel may remember me from church when we were young. You have a beautiful family! Your baby boy is so cute. I hope his ear infections are better. Battled that with my baby at about that age.
Your poor little guy! Ear infections are the worst. I hope he get's better soon. Where are you moving? I must have missed that post. I think this third kid has thrown me of my game!
What fun Easter ideas! Poor Lukas and his ears...hopefully you'll notice huge changes in him with them in. Tubes are so common, but still such a big deal- I'm glad he's getting that out of the way! Where does Joel's family live? They're not back east anymore huh? Fun Fun memories!!!
